Hi! I am Ali and I am the Founder of The Muckee Co. an Australian based small business handmaking colourful, practical and 'good looking' (we think so at least!) wash clothes for all of the little human Muckee moments. 

I am Mum of two small humans and I am very much in the trenches of lots (and lots and lots) of Muckee moments, especially during mealtime and bathtime.

The idea came from wanting a wash cloth that is stylish, colourful and fun, but also practical and soft for delicate little faces and bodies. I was tired of my ugly food stained boring wash clothes hanging around the house and I went in search of a product that would bring me joy. I've tried a million that don't cut it, so I decided to give it a go myself! Until now, I have never owned a needle and thread, let alone teaching myself to use two different sewing machines and creating what I hope is a product that families will love and will bring them joy, when they too are in the trenches.

The important part of my story, is that The Muckee Co. was born from a time of postnatal anxiety. It's still scary to be vulnerable and say this out loud, but Muckee truly has been a little splash of light in the darkness. 

To recognise how common these experiences can be and to (hopefully) support others on their own journey, 10% of all sales go to the PANDA Foundation.
